Newborn-to-Toddler Apptivity Seat The Newborn-to-Toddler Apptivity Seat by Fisher-Price generated controversy over its iPad-holding feature. Advocacy group Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood sent a petition with over 12,000 signatures, demanding that the toy company recall the seat. Backed by expert opinions, the group claimed that the product could harm developmental learning of body cues and socialisation due to the fact that the seat could increase screen time for infants.
Fisher-Price defended the product by claiming to to offer it for those parents who want the added feature of engaging in age-appropriate content with their children. The Fisher-Price app has a time-out feature that only allows for ten minutes of activity before requiring a manual reset.

Baby Box Finnish Baby Box includes 50 items to take care of the baby for the first year. It includes a mattress that when put in the bottom of the box creates the baby's first bed.
The baby box is a Finnish tradition that dates back to the 1930s. The Finnish social security institution grants a box to all expectant or adoptive parents, regardless of background or income. It has been credited with helping Finland achieve one of the world's lowest infant mortality rates.
